Adam Levine was
born in Los Angeles to Fredric Levine, the founder of retail chain M. Fredric,
and Patsy Noah, an admissions counselor. He was raised in a Jewish household,
although he identifies as spiritually open. Adam attended Brentwood School in
LA, where he met Jesse Carmichael and Mickey Madden — future members of his
band.
After high school,
Levine briefly attended Five Towns College in New York but left to pursue music
full-time.
