in Washington, D.C., and raised in Santa Barbara, California. Her father, Mohamed Hadid, is a Palestinian real
estate developer, and her mother, Yolanda
Hadid (née van den Herik), is a Dutch former model and television
personality. Bella has two siblings: an older sister, Gigi, and a younger brother, Anwar,
both of whom are also models. Additionally, she has two older half-sisters, Marielle and Alana, from her father's previous marriage. In May 2025, Bella and
Gigi publicly introduced their 23-year-old
half-sister, Aydan Nix, who
discovered her relation to the Hadid family
through a genetic test.
