graduating in 2009 with a First-Class Honours degree in Drama and Performance.

siblings. Her father is of Esan descent and served as a soldier, while her
mother, of Yoruba descent, is an engineer. In November 2017, she married
Nigerian singer and actor Banky W. (Olubankole Wellington). The couple has two
children, with their first son, Hazaiah, born in early 2021.
Career
Adesua Etomi made
her film debut in 2014 with Knocking on Heaven’s Door. Her breakthrough came
with the 2015 film Falling, earning her the Best Actress in a Drama award at
the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards. She has since starred in notable
films such as The Wedding Party (2016), The Arbitration (2016), The Set Up
(2019), and Sugar Rush (2019). On television, she has appeared in series like
MTV Shuga and Gidi Up. Beyond acting, Adesua ventured into music, releasing her
debut single "So Natural" in February 2022.
