Alicea, and Ecuadorian father, Freddie Bailon. She has an older sister,
Claudette. Adrienne attended PS 110-The Monitor in Brooklyn and the High School
for Health Professions and Human Services. Initially aspiring to become an
obstetrician, her career path shifted after being discovered by singer Ricky
Martin in 1999 while performing with her church choir at Madison Square Garden.
